A warm welcome to the Airways Hotel - steeped in history and dating back to the 19th century with its elegance, charm and style. We are situated close to some of the best sites in London - a short walk takes you to the magical Buckingham Palace, Westminster and in to the fabulous shopping arena of Chelsea and Knightsbridge.

We are a family run establishment and encourage couples and families of a discerning nature to stay with us - you will find a warm and relaxed atmosphere and a peaceful outlook. Enjoying high standards of service and cleanliness and lovely ensuite rooms which are filled with creative decor, style and charm - all with private bathrooms, large comfortable beds for a good night's sleep and little extras to keep you happy and smiling.

Enjoy breakfast with us in the morning before you set out for a day of work, play or explorations in the city. We are a short walk to Westminster if you need to meet and do business there or you simply want to see the Abbey, Cathedral and Houses of Parliament.

A short walk west wards takes you in to Chelsea, Sloan Square and the marvellous shopping and coffee shop society - lunch, conversation and cappuccino await.

Good stuff: Good big window with balcony.Hotel central.

Bad stuff: Decor,repair of peeling wallpaper on stairwell.Window didnt close properly in room-though probably just as well since room got too hot at night(in March!)even though this heatwas not from radiators but from other pipes running through bedroom.Room was on small side and toilet wobbled when using.Shower tray slow to drain and some mildew in grout.

Overall: All in all the Hotel was sufficient in a basic way.Clean,central,o.k. breakfast.Otherwise,on downside-the window didnt close properly in room-though probably just as well since room got too hot at night(in March!)even though this heat was not from radiators but from other pipes running through bedroom.Room was on small side and toilet wobbled when using.Shower tray slow to drain and some mildew in grout.

Overall: The accommodation was what would be expected at the price for the location. Although an old tired building it was clean and tidy and the staff were excellent.
