Good stuff: Its location and the fridge in the room. And also we could leave our luggage at this hotel for a while after checking out.
Bad stuff: Furnishing, building maintenance, furniture and facility.
Overall: The private shower room for the private room was extremely tiny. There were a toilet and shower space in a room of the size of a telephone cell. The room itself was also tiny and quite filthy. The window just next to the bed was impossible to close completely. The antique TV was nealy broken. The wall was thin enogh to feel the movement of the neighbours. The extra blanket was like found from a street.

Good stuff: very good value for money, central location
Bad stuff: decor is a little shabby, a fresh coat of paint would do wonders
Overall: The room included a lot more than I expected, fridge, kettle, tea coffee and TV. Breakfast was 2 slices of toast, cereal and oj/tea/coffee. Not huge, but reasonable enough.

Good stuff: Nothing
Bad stuff: most of it
Overall: We booked a room at the annexe hotel, when we arrived, we had to ring the door bell, a man appeared from down the street and explained to us that we had to check in at a different hotel. We checked in at this hotel, and then instead of being given a room at the annexe hotel, we were given a room at a completely different hotel down the same street. Our room was in the basement and was next door to the breakfast room. You could hear the trains underneath and it was very noisy. When we entered our room, we were shocked, it was tiny, and not very clean, even the towels were tatty. Our 'en-suite' was no bigger than a closet, my fiance couldnt even sit on the toilet properly because he kept banging his knees on the sink. The shower head sprayed the water directly onto the floor where a small drain took some of it away, however, it was very slippery, and in my mind, dangerous. We went out for the evening, and when we returned to our hotel room at about 10pm, we discovered that the breakfast room (next to our room) was also the room where the staff sat and watched TV and stayed up all night. They had the TV on ever so loud, i had to go and ask them to turn it down as we could hear every word of what they were saying and watching, they did turn it down after much explaining by me, however we were repeatedly woken in the night by the sound of them going up and downstairs or their telephones ringing.
I really was absolutely appalled by this hotel, and would not recommend it to anyone, there are much better hotels for the same money in the city.

Good stuff: location on a quiet street, close proximity to Victoria station, friendly staff.
Bad stuff: general cleanliness, decor, quality of furnishings
Overall: I did not mind the size of the room (v very small), but it was quite dirty and it smelled of cigarette smoke and mildew. The carpet was so dirty I could not walk barefoot in the room. I could not bring myself to have the offered breakfast in such a dirty place. This hotel needs a makeover very badly.

Good stuff: Very clean overall, bed clean and comfortable. Good value for money, convenient.
Bad stuff: No-one answered the door when I arrived, I had to phone for admittance
Overall: The overall impression is of slightly antiquated but nevertheless functional fittings. Very nice and clean and comfortable. Relatively quiet despite proximity to station. Felt secure.

Good stuff: excellent location, good to find
Bad stuff: noisy: near metro station, bad breakfast, small room, shower didn't work: didn't fix it when asked
Overall: I wouldn't book this again: only the location was good, but the breakfast, room and service was really bad. Our shower was broken and I asked to fix it two times, but they didn't.
