Good stuff: Small but nice room and reasonable facilities. Elevator, not bad breakfast... a nice choice for the budget traveller.
Bad stuff: Staff was efficient, but some were too cold (though never rude) in treatment.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I have known even cheaper hotels nearby, closer to underground stations, but would rather stay again at the Beaver instead. The gentle check-in and check-out, the readiness and efficiency for services have certainly compensated, for example, the too cold treatment at breakfast. Breakfast, actually, is very simply served... but, as other opinions might say, OK for the price (never forget it?s in London!). Staff was fast in taking care of other guest?s mess at shared facilities, to which I had really no competition.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I felt the description I read from the internet was an accurate review. I usually find in my travels the one unknown thing when staying in a hotel is the staff and often that can make or break a stay. I found the staff Beaver Hotel to be by far one of the friendliest and accomodating staff I have ever encountered. Although my accomodation was basic, it was indeed comfortable and would definitely stay there again.
