Good stuff: Everything especially the computer access and the free hotspots accsess in the rooms

Good stuff: Very pleasant and friendly staff. Good choice of breakfast. Hotel near to underground and bus route and in a nice area.

Bad stuff: My only moan would be that the bathroom decor in our particular room really needed to be refurbished but nevertheless was clean.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I chose this hotel as it was reasonably priced and in a great area - I wasn't disappointed. I would recommend this hotel - the reception area was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. There were many restaurants and shops just a few minutes walk in the Paddington area. I would definately stay at this hotel again.

Bad stuff: HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS in ROOM

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I specifically emailed and asked about the Internet acess (in room) and was told it was avaliable. I guess I assumed it was High Speed. In today's world the internet is as important if not more important than a telephone. My wife has some files she needed to send and forced her to miss a deadline. We tried an internet cafe but could not send the files. I am sure we could have tried more places but I was in London for a short stay and had more important things to do than search around for a place to access the internet or lug a computer around to hook up to the internet after finding said access point. There was a guest computer for use but it was not able to access the internet, and nobody new anything about how to make it logon. I would recommend the hotel again, Just be warned if you need to be connected to the WORLD you may not be. But that can be a GOOD thing.

Good stuff: The location. Very near Hyde Park which suited us but set back a bit.

Bad stuff: The room was a bit cramped and there was alot of noise outside at night

Good stuff: The position of the hotel was very convenient for the Heathrow Express at Padington and was surrounded by good bars and restaurants.

Bad stuff: The bathroom was tiny and a little worn round the edges

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The hotel was in a good position for transport links , the west end and the parks. Travelling from Heathrow via the H Express we were in this hotel in half an hour.It was a pleasant walk down to the V & A and Knightsbridge and there were plenty of good cheap places to eat round about. we found it to be great value for money.
