Once occupied by Lady Black this grand looking hotel is in a prime location very close to Marble Arch. With a first class welcome and all the amenities you could wish for, you are very well placed to explore the treasures of the West End. Mostyn is a very attractive establishment.

Over 100 rooms providing a home from home feel with traditional decor. Rooms are en-suite with complimentary bathroom cosmetics and hairdryer, a 24 hour room service, air conditioned and are provided with direct dial phone, modem link on request, complimentary newspaper, colour satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, ironing facilities, trouser press, safety deposit box and for families cots and baby sitting service on request. Lovely and relaxing.

In-house you will find a lovely European restaurant with a good choice of wines and beers and friendly service. The relaxed bar area is a good place to start with pre-dinner drinks.

Good stuff: The facilities, the room itself , location

Bad stuff: We were informed that the checkout time is 11am which is not normal and no opportunity for a late checkout with out paying 12.5 pounds per person evry hour !!

Bad stuff: breakfast wasn't particularly good (continental); a friend said she left three phone messages for me, which I never received - as a result, we were not able to get together

Bad stuff: Internet did not work. Poor service. In terms of size one room was okay, the other was very small with no room for luggage or for walking a few steps. The rooms and bathrooms were clean.

Bad stuff: road noise, room rather cramped, poor choice at bar

Overall: Size of rooms, limited choice at breakfast but very convenient location for my business trip - much cheaper than staying at the hotel in which my meeting was being held. Not sure if I could have got an evening meal in the hotel
