Pimlico is a rather hip place to be - close to Victoria and other main attractions. We are a privately run establishment with an emphasis on friendliness and helpfulness. Close to Pimlico tube stop and giving easy access to central London as well as Waterloo should you be taking the Euro Star.
We are delighted to present our lovely traditional town house for guests wishing to relax in one of the quiet yet trendy parts of town and where Lady Diana Spencer once taught at the local nursery.
All our en-suite rooms provide comfort and are fully equipped with TV and fresh towels.
Very conveniently located to make the most of some of the best sights in London including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and across the river the London Eye, London Aquarium, OXO Tower where you can enjoy an afternoon drink and watch the sunset over London's skyline.
If you love art then the Tate Gallery is close by and further along the river Tate Modern both a must visit! There are numerous museums. Both Green Park and St James Park are not too far away and make a pleasant and relaxing alternative where you can take a breather and stroll amongst the trees.
A rather upmarket part of town to stay.

Good stuff: It was quiet and comfortable.
Bad stuff: I think it would be helpful to provde tea and coffee making facilities. A hair dryer would be useful.
Overall: I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and guest houses in the last 20 years and this was better than average. I was fortunate to have a triple room (although I booked as a single traveller). The room, situated at the back of the hotel, was clean and comfortable and extremely quiet. Although the shower room was very small the shower was perfectly adequate. I found the hotel owner to be friendly and welcoming and breakfast was served efficiently and the menu was just right for me (although those wanting a full English breakfast may be disappointed. In terms of convenience the hotel occupies an excellent and central position within easy walking distance of both Pimlico and Victoria tube stations. Overall I would definitely return to this hotel next time I have a need to stay in central London.

Good stuff: The hotel was Victorian and quite cozy. The rooms were smaller than American hotels, but there really isn't a need for a large room when staying a night. It had everything I needed for the night and the breakfast was quite filling.
Bad stuff: I have absolutely nothing to contribute here. The hotel is near a road, and it can be somewhat noisy, but at the same time, you are in a city, what do you expect? I had the best two nights of sleep I've had thus far in Europe at the Blades hotel.
Overall: The Blades Hotel is absolutely perfect for anyone traveling to London and looking to save a few pounds. Yes, you give up crazy luxuries like larger rooms, but in reality, you won't spend that much time in your room. It is sufficient for sleep and preparing for the day. The staff was marvelous. The lovely lady at check-in was very helpful, kind, and willing to give me advise as to what is interesting in town. Breakfast was delicious and filling!! Overall, a very good deal and I will ABSOLUTELY return on my next trip to London.
