Good stuff: Old fashioned but comfortable
Bad stuff: Hairs in the bath and the parking situation
Overall: I thought the hotel was a bit old fashioned but it was comfortable. The bath water had difficulty draining away due to the hairs in the plug hole. Service in the pizza area was poor. Finding a parking space was difficult and the area was full of pot holes!

Good stuff: Good value for money
Bad stuff: Trouser press not working
Overall: Overall I thought the hotel offered great value for money and I will stay there again in the future. I was not happy with the process of pre authorising a credit card to be able to charge drinks/food etc to my room. I can understand why you do this (though I have never experienced it before) but I would have preferred to have got it sorted out when I checked in rather than when I tried to order some drinks. Lastly, I thought the service at the bar was a bit slow.

Good stuff: high quality of bathroom (Jacuzzi incorporated in bath)
Bad stuff: First room allocated-phone broken. Second room- roof leaked !
Overall: Hotel was very large; marked lack of internal directional signs and no hotel guide in room, so until I stumbled across it I did not know of gym/pool faciliies (these were very good). Food was standard hotel fare -OK but very pedestrian in choice. However, I have rebooked- the problems with rooms should be, hopefully, one offs- and staff were quick to sort them out; neither problem was a stopper. Location was good, and it looks as the outside facilities will be good in Spring/Summer etc ( I arrived in the dark). The day I arrived was day after heavy storms and the car parks were all littered with braches of various sizes- but there was a security guard evident in car park so that is a neutral vote.
