Our establishment provides an oasis of calm in the heart of the West End. Good stuff: the Spanish resturant staff and the Australian woman at front reception were very proffesional.

Bad stuff: lack of airconditioning the VERY small room, poor maintainance and poor quality of maintainance.

Overall: The hotel promised to be good [from the pictures on the internet] but I am unsure if it lived up to the description. SOME staff were very nice, some need urgent lessons in customer relations, surley and uninterested. VERY small room,lack of space for a suitcase, poor ventilation, poor quality of maintainance, eg sealer above window not finished and dripped, and set onto the radiator, carpets not fixed at lift exit, walls in room not clean, BUT ... Nice decore, nice food of an evening, nice glasswear, nice lighting, nice toiletries in the rooms, nice pillows.

Good stuff: nice sunny room. convenient transportation arrangments.

Bad stuff: slow elevator -- but it is better than walking up as in other hotels

Overall: I enjoyed my stay. The staff made every effort to be pleasant and accomodating.

Good stuff: Quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Helpful staff. Good food. Very clean. Shower worked very well.

Bad stuff: Bed/room very cold initially because (presumably) unused a while and radiator not turned on.

Overall: Advert was very informative and accurate. I chose the hotel for the number of single rooms available and especially for the haven of peace slogan, which it was.
