Good stuff: The Hotel was well located for Tower of London, and easy route from London Victoria on the tube.
Bad stuff: The only slight complaint was that the air conditioning didnt work, and even though we mentioned this to the reception staff, no-one came to fix it for us. The room was very hot. Also, the lift didnt always come UP, so stairs had to be used each time to get down to Reception. Not a problem for us, but there was one young lady staying at the Hotel on crutches, that must have found this difficult !
Overall: Our stay was very enjoyable, the rooms were comfortable and clean, with large King size beds, that gave us a good nights sleep. I wish that I had asked for a quieter room, on the opposite side from the railway line, since this meant we had to leave our windows closed at night, and because the air conditioning wasnt working, we had a very hot room which wasnt ideal. I will remember to ask for a room on the other side next time. With the pleasant attitude of the reception staff I am sure that they would be happy to arrange this for us. Overall, the hotel is in a reasonable location, not a lot open at night eg pubs, restaurants etc, but the Indian restaurant at the end of the road is excellant.
