Good stuff: The location is great & the staff were very friendly & helpful
Bad stuff: I had a room on the street & it was a bit noisy at night
Overall: I really enjoyed the Edward Lear & would certainly stay there again, it was a simple British budget accomodation but had nice touches like thick, clean towels every day & heat even in late April. The staff was particularly friendly & helpful.

Good stuff: The room and shower facilities were very clean.
Overall: The room and shower facilities were very clean although the decor is a bit grubby. Good location, staff were pleasant, decent breakfast, fine for the money.

Good stuff: Excellent location and friendly staff.
Bad stuff: Room and furnishings poor in relation to price.
Overall: One could not ask for a better location. However, although London is very expensive, the hotel should try to improve the furnishings (carpets, beds and bedding in particular) considering what they charge.
