Good stuff: it was near the conference center
Bad stuff: the bathroom facilities were extremely poor and i had the impression that the shower was designed only for men. the room was too small and it did not have a litter basket.
Overall: the size of the room was too small. the shower was not handy. the bathroom did not have ventillation. it did not supply shower gel, shower hat and sowing kit which personally i think it's necessary. its facilities did not agree with the price.

Good stuff: access to Euston station
Bad stuff: room scruffy, wall decor looks tired and dirty in places, bathroom needs a thorough clean, wardrobe door hanging off hinges and not accesible anyway so a pointless piece of furniture.
Overall: I would have like to have seen an example of the kind of room I would have got and not just a picture of the reception desk. YOu cannot judge a book by its cover or a hotel by its reception desk. This hotel thinks you can.

Good stuff: Contemporary decor in the bedroom/ bathroom. Hi-tech technology (ie television and telephone). Simple and clean.
Overall: Staff did their best to accommodate for a double room instead of twin (I had made a mistake when booking).
I would definitely re-visit this hotel.

Good stuff: Decent enough hotel for the price
Bad stuff: Needs a refurb in parts
Overall: A decent enough place to stay if you are merely after somewhere to sleep & intend to spend the greater part of your time in and around the city (especially if you are on a tight budget) - if you are looking for somewhere with loads of facilities, then this probably isn't the place for you. The staff were all friendly & helpful enough, and my only major 'turnoff' was the fact that the second floor (where my room was located) is in desperate need of a refurb.

Overall: The check in procedure was fairly slow, probably because there didn't seem to be a working computer system and they had to flick through a pile of paper sheets.
Also, my wife and I weren't able to have a room key pass each, so when my wife arrived separately, she had to wait for the receptionist to become available to let her in (as I had business to attend to and couldn't wait at the hotel).
However, on the positive side of things the hotel was clean + tidy and was also fairly good value for money.

Good stuff: It was close to the station..!!
Bad stuff: Room and bathroom just a bit to small for a 6ft large built man. Stained bed covers not very pleasant either.

Overall: A very noisy ventilation shaft produced a horrible sound 24/7.
They played loud music in the bar which could be heard on the first floor.
The staff didn't even know how to send a fax to another country.

Good stuff: Excellent facilities - very modern. Breakfast was ok - not made clear what you are entitled to with the room and what you have to pay for. Eg Cuppacino - was an extra that I had to pay for. Also as a single women staying at the hotel, I felt the security was excellent. I felt safe to stay there for the night alone.
Bad stuff: No bad points.
Overall: The only thing that I felt I needed to know on check in was around what your are entitled to for breakfast and what you pay for. Otherwise I felt everything is very good. I enjoyed the stay.

Good stuff: good shower, tv had a variety of channels, convenient location
Bad stuff: name not recognised on arrival (I had print-out of confirmation), lock on door broken
Overall: On arrival we were told that there was a problem with the system and asked to take a seat. I provided a print-out confirming that I had booked online. After several minutes the desk clerk (who appeared to be in a managerial position) started to read out the names of other guests, asking whether I had accidentally booked under another name. I made it clear that this was not the case and that mine was the only name used. He then informed me that for an extra £10 I could have an executive room; I declined the offer and checked in. The room was small and quite dirty (in corners, ceiling etc), but this wasn't too much of a problem as it was cheap and we intended to spend much of our time out of the hotel. Returning late on our first night, we were unable to open our door. The desk clerk tried and failed. He then told us that we would have to stay in another room until 7 the next morning. Luckily, another member of staff tried the door with a different card and managed to get in. There were no problems after this point.
