Good stuff: Every aspect of the Moat Hotel was excellent. The staff was helpful and courteous. The food was superb. There was plenty of hot water. The room was very nice. I plan to ask for the Moat Hotel everytime I stay in the Gatwick area.
Bad stuff: None. There was a little wear and tear on the wallpaper and it was explained to me that the wallpapering was being repaired a room per day. It was of no consequence.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The Moat Hotel is excellent value. My room was clean and quite nice. There was plenty of hot water. The staff was courteous and helpful in every way. The food in the restaurant exceptional. I plan to always ask for the Moat whenever I am in the Gatwick area.

Good stuff: Clean, functional, decent breakfast, friendly helpful staff, good location.
Bad stuff: Tiny room with noisy traffic, too few towels and pillows, hairdryer not working, uncomfortable bed, uncomfortable chairs in breakfast room.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: For the price, this was a good experience. The staff were efficient and friendly. The facilities were clean.
