The Gresham is named after the famous Sir Thomas Gresham founder of the Royal Exchange - the first official bourse in London. We have carefully kept this establishment in keeping with its era, maintaining quality and a peaceful aire. Our aim is to ensure you have a pleasant, relaxed stay and be content. Good quality and a polite and courteous welcome. Our en-suite rooms are fully equipped and a substantial continental breakfast is served in our bright dining room.

You are ideally placed to enjoy some of the best sights in London very close by. A short walk to Hyde Park where you can view Kensington Palace, walk around Serpentine Lake and visit the Gallery or simply sit and sip tea whilst watching the world go by. There is horse riding and roller blading available in the park and there's a band stand on the far side. The park is famous for hosting some of the best music festivals in the world. On the far side you will find the Royal Albert Hall where you can take a daytime tour, have a spot of lunch and then visit the museums behind - Science, Natural History and the Victoria and Albert. Heading up to Knightsbridge where you can visit Aladdin's cave - Harrods with its treasures from faraway, lovely restaurant and amazing perfume department.

Bad stuff: A not working shower, and a very warm and small room.

Bad stuff: You ran out of towels and so the cut rate rooms were left with hand towels. Thanks

Good stuff: Within easy walking distance of oxford street and hyde park. The rooms and hotel were clean and tidy and the reception area was open 24hr.

Bad stuff: We were not informed on arrival that we had to hand our key in at reception when leaving the hotel. reception should make sure all guests are told this on arrival. We only had 2 bed side lights that worked in the whole room. There was no main light working in the room and the light above the mirror was not working.

Overall: Very good location for all the main attractions. very clean rooms, however not all lights were in working order and the hotel should make sure all equipment is working before guests arrive. Overall stay was good

Good stuff: The location of the hotel was excellent, the Paddington tube station was only a few minutes walk from the hotel, making it very easy to reach. The hotelroom was clean and the continental breakfast was fresh.

Bad stuff: The staff has somewhat lacking skills in English, which could be improved upon.

Overall: The stay at Gresham Hotel was good, the room was clean, the breakfast was nice, and it is very conveniently situated with Paddington station only a few minutes walk away.
