Venturing in to the City then DLR will take you there where you can choose a number of activities from theatre land to shopping along Oxford Street or simply enjoying the sights in the East part of the City around the Barbican Centre and St Pauls Cathedral. South of the river you will find Greenwich Village and Blackheath Common - great for walking and exploring the Royal Observatory and the Cutty Sark. There is a very good market at Greenwich too.
