A few steps out of the door and you are on Oxford Street, leading down to New Bond Street which connects with Piccadilly - some of the best streets for retail therapy. Green Park is close by so you can enjoy a morning stroll or afternoon meander. A little further over and you are in Covent Garden with its indoor market, piazza filled with shops, tea houses and live entertainment.

Good stuff: The location was great

Bad stuff: The shower didn't work. Had to take a bath in a small bath tub

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The place was a bit hard to find. It's in a side street and being a visitor to London just saying it's close to the Bond Street station is not enough. You need to give specific instructions, like turn left go a block 50 meters, etc.

Good stuff: Location

Bad stuff: Poor maintenance. Telephone line not working.

Good stuff: IT was the worst hotel experience of my life. I have called AX to cancel payment.

Bad stuff: Dirty, Smelly, Filthy,unsatisfactorty staff,awful room, awful overall

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I believe that I was robbed for the one night's aty at this hotel. It was so far below my expectations that I am ashamed that I stayed for one night. I felt cheated and that the hotel is a fraud. The staff and the overall hotel appearance is so poor that I am shocked.

Bad stuff: It wasn't very clean. Windows wouldn't shut. Curtains let all the light through. Toilet wouldn't flush properly.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Wouldn't stay here again.

Bad stuff: The linnen was rough and the room was cold.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The area, Christopher's place, is very pleasant. It is a pedestrian street offering many restaurants and bars. It is very near the Oxford street, and Bond Street tube station, i.e. easy to get to and from. But the hotel it self is cheap: The linnen was rough, room was cold and the toilet was small and smelly. Nonetheless, the room was spacious, with TV and fridge, with a beautiful view of the hairdressers next door ;)
