Our hotel, the Elizabeth, is a privately owned, family run establishment set in the heart of Bayswater, very close to Hyde Park and just a minute away from Lancaster Gate Tube. Perfectly placed overlooking Hyde Park where you can enjoy a morning stroll, take part in various sports on offer including horse riding or even roller blading. Travel a little further South and you will find the exhibition centres at Earls Court where there is always something worthwhile going on. Lunch by the River Thames at Putney Bridge makes a pleasant change. Venturing across to the West End starting at Mayfair close by and then progressing on to Piccadilly with a visit to Fortnum and Mason is a must. A vast array of shops, malls with smaller more exclusive designer shops and of course a wealth of choice in tea rooms and coffee shops. Art galleries, museums and the famous Madam Tussauds are all worthwhile including on your agenda. Theatre land and an evening meal is the perfect way to end your day, safe in the knowledge you are returning to comfort and quiet.
