 Marble Inn has a really wonderful art nouveau feel to it. A little bit French with a definite over tone of English tradition. This lovely establishment is situated in Marble Arch very close to Hyde Park and puts all of London's treasures on your doorstep. Perfect for the leisure seeker.
Newly decorated with a traditionally English theme with a tiny sprinkle of France the Marble Inn is perfectly placed and very central for the West End.
En-suite rooms have hairdryer, direct dial phone, remote control satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities and fridge. Cots are available on request and there is a 24 hour reception as well as dry cleaning and laundry service.
Step out in to the delights of the West End with theatre land, fine restaurants and cosy coffee shops. If you are looking for retail therapy then you are at the world's centre for shopping with Oxford Street displaying every well known high street name to Bond Street with its fine tailors and dedicated designers. Pop across to Covent Garden and delight in the street talent, browse around the stalls and then sip a cup of tea in one of the many tasteful tea rooms and watch the world go by.
Close by is the lovely Regents Park offering greenery, tranquillity and solitude where you can stroll and relax after a busy morning. Its a good way to start the day too.

Good stuff: Nothing.
Bad stuff: The room was small, the brakfast was only a cold luncheon, the TV was old, there were no wardrobes - in summary: very poor.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I was vey disapointed with the Hotel. It was not what I expected for 80 pounds/night. The Hotel is a very simple Bed&breakfast - Hotels of this kind usually charge about 50 pounds/night. Just for example, in my last day in London I changed to another hotel that charged me 65 pounds for a much better room.

Good stuff: breakfast was adequate and room was clean.
Bad stuff: very small room and basement room with no view.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: considering the cost in London, it was fair for a modest hotel in a good neighbourhood.
