We are located only 16 minutes walking distance, under 1 mile from Marble Arch, the gateway to lively West End. Also we are just 7 minutes, less than 1/2 a mile from the peaceful Hyde Park. Guests may enjoy a leisurely stroll among the green shrubs of magnificent Hyde Park or spend a day boating at the Serpentine Lake . Knightsbridge with its famous shops including Harrods and Harvey Nichols is about 30 minutes away to the south.

Good stuff: Staff very positive and helpful

Bad stuff: Had to move room because of rain leaking in through window. Toilet seat in first room loose. Poor drain down of toilet in second room. Superficially well cleaned but rubbish behind furniture

Overall: Served its purpose at an affordable level

Good stuff: Proximity to Paddington Station

Bad stuff: Unfriendliness of staff

Overall: I did not feel welcome at this hotel. Also the general maintenance of the hotel was very poor. Only the threadbare carpet was stopping me from going through the broken floorboards to the room below! Bathroom was good, bed was okay except that the bed was not made after the first of 2 nights and was only just covered over. Overall as a single older woman I would not stay here again. This was not what I expect from a 3 star listing.
