Good stuff: Proximity to Paddington Station

Bad stuff: Unfriendliness of staff

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I did not feel welcome at this hotel. Also the general maintenance of the hotel was very poor. Only the threadbare carpet was stopping me from going through the broken floorboards to the room below! Bathroom was good, bed was okay except that the bed was not made after the first of 2 nights and was only just covered over. Overall as a single older woman I would not stay here again. This was not what I expect from a 3 star listing.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: the hotel looked very nice and at first i got very good service but after that the other staff was very rude and did not bother giving any directions plus the double room was smaller than any single room i have been in
