Good stuff: Comfortable, clean and quiet room.
Overall: 1. The online booking did not work well. I had booked three rooms, giving three different names. The computer had not picked these up. 2. Somewhere along the line one of the rooms had been cancelled internally. The receptionist made it clear that this was my problem and that I had to supply evidence that I had booked three rooms (even though she had the identical forms in a file). Even when I did, she implied that this was a nuisance and that it could not be a problem with the online booking. When it became clear that the probelm was at your end, she did not even apologise. This was not a pleasant wwelcome after a long day at work.
3. Signage to the hotel from the underground stations could be improved. I ended up going round the buliding through the car park.
4. Unfortunately I was there during the snow and as a pedestrian. The steps and slope from the hotel were lethal!
5. I will answer 'Yes' to the second question below.... but would add that with Novotel, I will always follow up with a phone call, which seems a waste!
