Good stuff: Close to the underground and within walking distance to the Oxford Street. Excellent breakfeast. Friendly staff. Good shower in room. Towels changed daily.

Bad stuff: Room was very small, not many of the lights worked. Very basic.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The hotel was in a very good location to visit any of the attractions in London, which I did not know before we arrived. Although the room was very small and some of the lights not working I could not fault anything else, we were able to come and go at any time and the staff were very friendly.

Good stuff: Convenience

Bad stuff: Value for money. I felt that the hotel accommodation was Ok but it was very small and there are other hotels offering more features for the same price.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Very well situated and very close to Paddington Station for onward commuting. Room was reasonable but the en-suite is a build in the room - almost like a self-contained pod which has been installed in the room. Not good for disabled visitors or people with difficulty climbing stairs. I am very fit but you still notice getting up to the top floor and for me that was room 16 only.

Good stuff: Friendly staff and cleanliness of the hotel and room.

Bad stuff: To provide tea and coffee making facilites in room.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: That there was no facility to make a dring on arrival. More precise details of lacation in relation to Padding station (ie exact position along Sussex Gardens)

Good stuff: Clean and tidy, excellent breakfast in a very pleasant dining room. Location convenient for visiting our choice of London sites and for the evening shows.

Bad stuff: More towels in the Bathroom

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The accomodation lived up to our expectations for a convenient, cost effective location for a short stay.

Good stuff: The full English breakfast was very nice.

Bad stuff: It would be nice if they had a lift. Also, ceiling fans in the upper floors would keep it cooler.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: My son had very bad allergy problems the nights we stayed there. When we returned a few days later and stayed in a different room, he was fine. I believe the first room may have housed a cat, as he is allergic to cats. We had very heavy baggage and it was difficult to get them up and down the stairs. Other than this, our visit was fine. The location was very convenient to the trains and underground.

Bad stuff: The food was poor and defintely needs improvement.

Good stuff: Only the bed was regular

Bad stuff: Would be easy to list in which area it do not need to be improved.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The most important to know is the quality of the room you are booking. The hotel gave to me a room in the 5th floor, narrow and with a bad shower. However, the photos in its web site were completely different: wide and very bright.

Good stuff: good position in the Paddington area

Bad stuff: inadequate ventilation of the room -- kitchen odours came early in the morning

Good stuff: Good location, helpful staff - would definitely use again

Good stuff: neatly presented, modern room, if somewhat compact.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Unfortunately my own stay was cut short and i was impressed by the fact that the concern of the staff as i checked out early was that there had been a problem with the room,which was actually perfectly adequate. It was on the third floor though, and I was glad to have been travelling light, as the prospect of carrying cases up the stairs would have been a little daunting. In the short time I stayed however I was pleased with the general level of the decor and the positioning for Hyde Park and Oxford Street was excellent.

Bad stuff: no soap for the shower

Good stuff: Close to Station, Quiet, Clean bathroom, friendly staff

Bad stuff: Decor was outdated, not able to use a dvd/CD player, room very hot at night

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Very accessible and close to Paddington Station. Room size is small but adequate with storage space if needed. The bathroom is clean and shower works properly. The decor is quite outdated, though no floral patterns on the walls. Service is good and friendly.

Good stuff: Convenient location, competitive price, nice breakfast, very clean.

Bad stuff: Room on third floor, no lift. Computer with internet connection in lobby did not work.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: In general, I was quite pleased with the hotel. It is conveniently located, very clean and attractive, and reasonably well run. It has a very nice full English breakfast included.

Good stuff: the people at the front desk and the young polish girl that makes the room and cooks the breakfast. All of them made our stay very pleasant

Bad stuff: there wasn't a hair drier in the room (as advertised), which is very essential in such cold weather. I would have taken my own if I had known this was the case It would have been nicer to have breakfast hours until 9:30-10:00

Good stuff: location, friendliness of staff, left luggage facility, excellent breakfast.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: the hotel was ideal for my needs, 2 minutes from paddington station, and well situated for the conference i was attending. this was my 2nd stay at the omega, and will not be my last. the staff are friendly and helpful, particularly the manager, who asssisted me with bus and tube directions.on each of my visits i was given a larger room than i had booked, making myn stay even more comdfortable. finally i felt the hotel was excellent value.

Good stuff: Very much appreciated and like the people, servise and the included breakfast! The room was very clean & neat.I appreciated the front door being locked as well.

Bad stuff: I was upset that there was no heat in the room as we were a very late arrival and didn't have an understanding of the limited hours that the heat was on. The radiator had been tunned off so no heat came into the room before our arrival. When I sopke to the gentleman at the front desk he quickly had a remedy for the problem. He gave us a space heater which helped tremendously. We very much appreciated this kindness in the middle of the night! Please thank him for us once again. He was also very helpful with directions for getting around. This was much appreciated because this was our first time to visit London.
