Good stuff: The room was clean but very small. Obviously there had been a recent refurbishment of the hotel. It was a lot better than we expected and good value for money.

Bad stuff: Just quite small.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Good for a short stay but perhaps not good if you are staying for more than a few days due to the size of the rooms.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: By London standards this is a fairly good value, but the rooms are small, they can be quite noisy from loud door closings in other rooms, and the physical plant is in need of some maintenance (peeling paint, old fixtures, etc.). The continental breakfast choice is rather limited. The english breakfast is good, but a bit pricey. The location is quite good, in general. In summary, you are getting what you pay for, but it isn't worth their ordinary full room price. It is a reasonable value for the website price compared to what else is available for that money in London.

Bad stuff: Carpet didn't fit, no bath, broken window wouldn't shut/cracked. Cigarette ash on floor
