We are situated in the affluent area of St Johns with easy access in to town. If you are a cricket fan then we have the enviable location just opposite Lord's Cricket ground and the wonderful Regents Park. If you are with the children then London Zoo is a must and within walking distance. Once you have enjoyed Regents Park in its entirety - boating lake, outdoor theatre and its beautiful grounds then on leaving at the south side you will come to Madame Tussauds and the Planetarium - great for all the family and all ages. You might notice the ladies in your party quietly slip down Baker Street from here where they will pop out at Oxford Street - as if by magic - finding themselves in shopping land! You know where that leads..........Regent Street, Bond Street, Piccadilly and ooh lets have afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason........and lets choose some fine gifts for the men in our lives......

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Living out of London the congestion charge is a concern and I would have liked it made clear before booking that the Danubius hotel is NOT in the charging zone also that extra hours, after the official check-out time, can be bought at chech-in.

Good stuff: The Hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating.
Bad stuff: We booked a taxi for 6.30 and it was given to another guest. We therefore missed the first performance of the theatre show. Mini Bar didn't work, room was worn & tatty looking.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Location good for motorways. Car parking is an addition £12.50 per night, You must hand in your car keys. Tube station is 15 minutes walk away, taxis are easily available, £12.00 to the centre.
