Good stuff: The locality is excellent

Bad stuff: For the price ranged the room was too small, although I booked a double room, for two people to be actually accommodated in that sized room would be a challenge

Overall: The hotel is small, does not have a lift and the b/f is poor. In honesty the price quoted does not meet the expectation

Good stuff: For a hotel of this cost in central London the room and hotel were better than I feared. overall cleanliness was adequate and they had taken note of my special needs. the hotel is a few yards from Bayswater tube in a busy pedestrian area and I felt quite safe even after dark.

Bad stuff: No plug in the bathroom and the drains smelt terribly the first night, however they were effectively cleaned when I told them (why did I have to tell them the drains stank???). dust and debris under bed. only one towel in room. no butter 2nd morning for breakfast.

Overall: pleasantly surprised at the standard of such a good value hotel in central london.

Good stuff: Nice area, refurbished, hair drier, good-working doors and windows, 24hrs reception

Bad stuff: many problems with the hot water, only one small towel given, breakfast only between 8.00-9.30, no help with the luggage despite the fact that I have serious problem with my back and the room was on the 4th floor, being asked to pre-pay the whole stay since check-in

Overall: Outrageously priced for what it offers
