Modern accommodation made from 2 classic nineteenth century townhouses with contemporary designed rooms throughout. A good location within a few hundred metres of Paddington tube and railways station. We like to think of ourselves as one of the most stylish London hotels you can get on a budget.

Low cost, unconventional, a little something different for a memorable stay in London. The traditional look of he buildings outside hides what inside is a totally up to date experience. Within a few hundred metres of Hyde Park and its famous landmarks, it is a great place to stay while on holiday. Big enough to provide the all the amenities you would expect yet small enough to give you that warm atmosphere that will keep you coming back time and time again.

Good stuff: The hotel modern-style and the closeness to the city center.

Bad stuff: Too small rooms and unconfortable beds.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Very close to central trian station. parking close by. friendly reception staff. very clean and tidy.

Good stuff: It was different to other hotels.

Good stuff: proximity to underground, proximity to eating places, walking distance to Hyde Park - great for children

Bad stuff: should be floors allocated non-smoking - smell wafted around hotel; stale smoke smelt in rooms

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: verh happy with accommodation - able to walk to a lot of attractions in our area. staff very helpful and always pleasant, especially girls who cooked the breakfasts

Good stuff: wonderful breakfast, courteous staff, location

Bad stuff: Our hairdryer in the room did not work.

Good stuff: Clean room and a comfortable bed at a fair price

Bad stuff: Room and corridoors narrow. Bad condition of the shower, water running too slow, too litltle space to hang up clothes and no drawers for socks and underwear.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The Stylotel is a good option for those who are not willing to pay much for a hotelroom but want a clean room to sleep in, and a friendly service at the front desk. For those who want to spend more time in their hotelroom, I would reccommend to look somewhere else.

Good stuff: the price and cleaniliess

Bad stuff: The shower spray was almost unusable. Very little water.

Good stuff: Very funky modern hotel.

Bad stuff: Rooms quite small. Bit claustrophobic.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Overall look of reception and rooms was very unusual and trendy, more than pleasently suprised. Booked a treble room but didn't realise how small it would be therefore quite cramped for 3 people. Shower room also quite extremely compact. Breakfast service was quite poor, think the waitress may have been having a bad day!!! Definitely recommend the hotel for a one night stay bearing in mind that you would need to book more than one room if travelling with more than 1 companion.

Good stuff: The location. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

Bad stuff: Ceiling had water leak stain. Bathroom very small(built-in type unit) and faucet had rust wear on it. The stairs and hallways were exposed underflooring(carpet on order). The television was poorly positioned(on a closet shelf).

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The style of the hotel was a bit untasteful. The high-tech appearance looked better on the internet photos. The faux wood flooring is cheap-looking and the dining area chairs are just plain silly with 90 degree chairbacks!

Bad stuff: Smelt strongly of smoke, no fresh linen or drinks facilities in rooms.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The location was fantastic, with Paddington Station a 2 minute walk away, and a few nice places to eat at a reasonable price. The hotel was comfortable as a base, but was very basic, and speaking as a non-smoker it would have been nice to know that the hotel reception was used as a the 'bar area'.

Good stuff: Very convenient and functional

Bad stuff: There are no clocks in the rooms.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The staff of this hotel are very nice and will provide you with more than your average hotel will. The entire building is uniquely, modernly styled- very Ikea! Clean and contemporary, nothing is dingy or moth eaten. They have done a great job transforming the usual small, boring London-style hotel into a modern and fun place to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to anyone.

Good stuff: Clean, Friendy, Good Breakfast, Tea & Coffee available, value for money

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Would definitely recommend hotel good value for money, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

Good stuff: Being able to bring the breakfast to the room. 12 o clock chekout also good.

Bad stuff: minor point - stairs need covering - look a bit mucky on the way to 5th floor. please put 4 pillows in the room (not just 2)

Bad stuff: One of the beds was terribly uncomfortable and we did inform the receptionist. I felt the tea and coffee was a good idea but the water wasn't hot enough. And the coffee and tea at breakfast was bad!

Good stuff: The room was clean, although not very welcoming.

Bad stuff: I was not keen on the decor of the rooms.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I thought the hotel was overall good value for money although when we arrived the member of staff on reception did not speak very good English; this caused us a few problems when trying to find a car park.
