Our rooms are all decorated with a warm and inviting theme and include wonderful power showers, direct dial phone, TV, a wake up service and tea and coffee making facilities. Good stuff: Very courteous and helpful staff

Bad stuff: No Bedside lamp and the switch for the light is only by the door and not by the bed

Overall: I booked an ensuite shower room and I was given a wetroom instead. As I was only looking for cheap accommodation for me and my work colleagues, therefore I think that the room was adequate as a place to stay overnight.

Good stuff: Personel was very nice. Location is good.

Bad stuff: Rooms are tiny, but that is to expect for the price. WIFI connection was very unstable.

Overall: Although my room was tiny and not very beautiful, it was clean and the hotel very well located (10-minute walk from King Cross station). Definitely enough if you plan to visit the city and not spend much time in your room.

Good stuff: we had a spacious family room with plenty of facilities such as kitchen with microwave etc

Bad stuff: the hotel could improve its decor a bit to brighten it up and the bathroom was not in very good condition, very basic.

Overall: The accomodation was very basic which is reflected in the price. It was fine for us as we only stayed overnight, but i wouldn't want to stay any longer.Th family roon we stayed in had everything you needed but the bathroom was not very good. The staff were very polite and we found check in easy. The breakfast was staff were pleasant and we had a good continental breakfast.

Good stuff: Nice relaxed atmosphere. Great reception service. Lovely decor.

Bad stuff: Very noisy. Rude serving staff at breakfast.

Overall: The decor of the room and reception area was very nice. It's located in a nice central area, making it easy to get to most places, although, it was very noisy, both outside the hotel, and inside. The reception staff were very courteous and friendly, but the serving staff at breakfast were rude to guests and very unfriendly. A good place to stay for somewhere to crash at night, perhaps not great for a leisurely break away.

Good stuff: The bed.

Bad stuff: I did not like the bathroom door as it did not close properly. it would also have been nice if we had a dressing table.

Overall: i found the swinton hotel very basic. the previous month i had paid the same amount of money to stay in another hotel in a nicer part of London wich i found to be very spacious and well equipt. I was disopointed with my room as it was very basic and far to small.

Bad stuff: works in the morning in the hotel, short breakfast times

Overall: Little additional details are making you feel comfortable. clean room and bathroom. Very nice staff. Except from the works in the room above us the last day, everything was very nice.

Good stuff: Fairly cheap, clean, complimentary coffee and biscuits on the room, refrigerator, good breakfast.

Bad stuff: Rather heavy noise from traffic outside.

Overall: Reasonable hotel, conveniently located, clean, pleasant staff and good breakfast. Not a good area for a female to go out alone in the evening. Noisy rooms at the front and had to borrow hairdryer from reception and return after use as not standard issue in rooms.
