Good stuff: Superb breakfasts, especially the coffee. Exceptionally courteous and patient service from manager in connection with our bill. All desk receptionists very helpful. Surprisingly quiet, given central location. Enjoyed the modern decor of the lobby area and the sense of being in a friendly neighborhood when we walked out. Safe in room very convenient and easy to operate--best we have ever had. We were grateful to be allowed to leave some bags for a few days after our checkout.

Bad stuff: Switches for reading lights over bed were reversed, so that right switch controlled left light and vice versa. Cleaning staff kept entering room to inspect rather than clean it; this became a nuisance. No flannels were in room when we checked in. We used one of our own, but it was taken by staff the next day and never returned despite a written request to houseskeeping.

Overall: We were delighted by our stay, which exceeded our expectations.
