Our family run guest house offers the very best in friendly hospitality and comfortable accommodation. Located close to the heart of the capital, opposite the resplendent Royal Kensington Gardens, there is no better place to stay whilst visiting London.

We have been welcoming visitors from near and far for over 50 years with the same warmth and friendliness, and we go out of our way to ensure your time here is both enjoyable and a memorable one. There are 31 magnificent guest rooms, which are comfortable and relaxing and decorated to an excellent standard. All of our bedrooms are fitted with all the creature comforts of home.

The hotel is within walking distance of Queensway underground station, and the main strain station of Paddington is close by too. This allows for fast and direct travel to the city centre as well as the major airports. There is parking available nearby for any visitor travelling by car.

You will be able to enjoy the beautiful Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens during your time here, where you can take a stroll through the park, maybe have a picnic and tour Kensington Palace where a number of Royals have lived over the years. London's glittering West End is packed with theatres and shows, exciting bars and clubs, as well as the finest restaurants serving food to suite any pallet.

Good stuff: Friendly and helpful staff

Bad stuff: The bedroom was a bit shabby and had a stained carpet. The shower head was dirty. The continental breakfast was very disappointing, no rolls, fruit, yoghurt or croissants.

Overall: Good location, handy for central London. staff were friendly and helpful but the points mentioned above left me disaapointed.I would return but only if the points mentioned were addressed.
