London Fashion Week in February

Every year the catwalks become alive with models that are dressed it the most up to date outfits in the fashion world.

Dates for this event over the last few years have been the second week in February. This is probably to give the models enough time to get slim again after eating that one spoonful of pudding last year.

The week is full of events and shows that are a must see for all of the fashion victims out there as well as the well to do among you that have to have these incredible outfits now!

There are two Fashion Weeks in London, one in September and this one in February. It is timed perfectly just after the BAFTA awards to allow London still to be full of the rich and famous. Many of them will be coming along here to find out what to wear for the next award presentation I am sure.

There are a host of catwalk shows throughout the city and a full schedule of these can be seen on this site. In 2007 the London Fashion Week Exhibition was held in the Natural History Museum. So a day out here could include a trip for the kids and something for mum as well. A drop in to one of the many cafes here for a "bespoke salad" sounds like a dream come true to a thin model I would imagine. Missing out on a glass of bubbly in the Champaign bar would be just to much to ask. Especially if one could mingle with the rich and famous of the fashion scene there.

There is a lot going on in February in London. These wonderful fashion shows and the exhibition are a major part of it all. Enjoy our city while you wait for spring. What you see here this week might well be what you see in the shops in a month or so!
