Hawaii Vacations Guide
There is little question that when you are looking for a dream holiday, Hawaii comes high up on the list of places to go. This unique travel site has a number of sales reaps that can guide you through the quagmire of trips available. They have a number of different packages available and the online guide they have produced seems quite comprehensive. Although not totally up to date design wise this site works, which is more than can be said about a lot of the stuff out there.
Rough Guide
The rough guides have been the backpackers bibles for some time now. Usually comprehensive detail of what to do where and how to get it cheap, they are a good reference for tourists and travellers. Most of the world will be covered by these guys and most of what they say will be well researched. This is not always the case though so do take care and don't take all that is written for granted. Rough guides gets a 8 out of 10 from me personally as a well seasoned traveller!
Fodor's Travel Guides
Fodors used to produce a series of incredibly wordy guide for travellers. They were in the most part very good yet from what I gather this online industry put them under enough pressure in 2004 and onward that they have changed to this website and little else. This is a true shame and the website itself is little more that anyone who thinks they know what they are talking about can talk about it. True web2 but not what I would call always quality information. You don't know who you are talking to or whether it is true. Shame about the travel guides though, I used to quite enjoy them.
