Our grand Victorian built townhouse sits in a residential square in Kensington for the peace and quiet you deserve on your stay with us. Within walking distance of Earls Court Tube station it is very well placed for all that London has to offer and easy to access by Taxi if you arrive at one of the main airports. Nearest main railway stations are Paddington and Victoria. The Hotel offers 104 beautifully redecorated rooms with en-suite facilities and a warm welcome.

The Burns Hotel is located in Barkston Gardens - a residential square with a peaceful environment. A pleasant outlook with trees, cultivated plants and flowerbeds makes this a restful place to stay whilst having the abundance that London has to offer. A short walk to Kensington and Knightsbridge where you can enjoy some sightseeing or shopping. Visit the Royal Albert Hall and enjoy a show or see what's on at the famous Earls Court Exhibition and Olympia Centres. Both Taxi and Tube give very easy access to venture a little further West toward Chelsea or across to Hyde Park to enjoy a walk in the park. Not far from Notting Hill and the wonderful and intriguing Portabello Road market, where you can find that special treasure and haggle over it!

Good stuff: Close proximity to Earls Court/Olympia

Bad stuff: None in our experience

Overall: If you are a couple of country bumpkins, travelling up to London to see Neil Diamond at Earls Court,as my friend and I were, and are unsure of where to stay, this hotel is ideal. Easy walking distance from Earls Court Underground station and Earls Court/Olympia. The directions given when booking were spot on! Rooms not large but adequate for an overnight stop with everything you needed. Excellent breakfast included, plus a nice bar where we were able to get a drink (or two) after the show.
