Our Apart'hotel is situated in the classy district of Kensington, a short walk to Hyde Park where you can view the beautiful Kensington Palace, meander across the park to Serpentine Lake and visit the Gallery - makes a nice start to the day.

A traditional and lovely building housing 92 fully equipped apartments of one and two rooms with a 24 hour reception to help you with your needs. Apartments have everything you would find in your own home from hairdryer to TV, iron and kitchenette with self-catering facilities. We have a restaurant and bar on the ground floor which is run independently.

Location is everything - and this is a great location for exploring Knightsbridge and Chelsea. Harrods and Harvey Nichols for starters but why not take a daytime tour around Royal Albert Hall and then have a spot of lunch in the cafe there. There are three museums to explore - Science, Natural History and the Victoria and Albert. Chelsea's Sloan Square is a hub of coffee shops, beautiful people shopping for the best outfits and a little further over is the Antique Market for those looking for a rare treasure or two.

Home from home, maintaining your independence.

Good stuff: Having a kitchen to break the necessity of dining out every lunch and dinner.
Bad stuff: Beyond the hotel's control I think, but the trash haulers and restaurant supply trucks were quite noisy. A better price on doing laundry would be appreciated.
Overall: A very nice stay, good location, convenient shops.

Bad stuff: Room dirty, equipment and fittings didn't all work. Lack of bedding. Check in procedures spartan and got the Bill wrong ! Cooking facilities interesting as no cooker only microwave and x 2 rings. Flickering light in bathroom which should have been sorted by maintenance.
Overall: More like a converted hotel room than a 1 room apartment as suggested by literature.
