This building holds history back to the 16th century when it was originally a farmhouse residence. The 100 acres of peaceful woodlands that surround us will allow you to rest comfortably. If you desire to saunter around our landscaped grounds you will be most welcome. We all need a break, especially when we are involved in the hustle and bustle of holiday air traffic and thats what we strive to give you. We are also equipped with a Jacuzzi and steam room for that moment of total relaxation.

If you are a diner of distinction then you stay with us will leave you wanting to come back for more we are sure. The Lion d'Or having been awarded 2 Rosettes from the AA will make your taste buds sing.

Good stuff: Liked the location and especially the jucuzzi bath. No noise from other guests which was a bonus compared to other hotels in the area. Food and service was very good too.

Bad stuff: Bedrooms are a bit tired looking, especially the bathroom, could do with a little TLC.

Overall: The swimming pool is in a separate building a short walk away from the hotel.

Good stuff: Superb rooms and excellent staff and surroundings

Bad stuff: nothing

Overall: very quick check in and check out process, the grounds and facilties were absolutly superb and i would highly recommend anyone to stay here. had meal in the Brassiere yet again highly recommended.

Bad stuff: Shoe shine machine in passage to Rooms 400 very noisy and would have caused serious inconvenience to guests in the first two rppms in that corridor.

Overall: +Gererally everything fine but felt breakfasts were over priced and directional signage within the building could have been clearer. Car park far away from main hotel entrance - bit of a hassel with luggage and no night security.
