Our hotel situation in the heart of Kensington is perfectly placed for you to enjoy London's shops. We are close to Olympia Exhibition Centre.

Kensington itself has a small park area known as Holland Park and is close to Notting Hill. Here is where the famous Portabello Road Market is held - delight in the revelry of finding something special and then haggle over it.

From Kensington you are well placed for West End theatres. Pop in to Chelsea and enjoy the coffee shop society.

Hyde Park is a few stops on the tube and offers a haven for relaxing and wandering in a natural environment. Travel 20 minutes south of Kensington on the tube to find Kew Gardens and visit the famous botanical gardens there.

Good stuff: They were well suited for Biz traveler to include iron and Ironing board

Bad stuff: Walls are paper thin and seems there were a lot of people that liked to party to early morning. It made it difficult to sleep at times.

Good stuff: Close to the venue we were visiting

Bad stuff: Cleanliness & standard of room very poor.

Overall: Overall found the hotel to be poor, reception was clean and smart looking. Rest of hotel including corridors and room 126 dirty and shabby. Cannot believe hotel had recently been refurbished as holes in corridor carpet, paper hanging off wall in bedroom and shower area extermely water stained and old. Views were fantastic of a brick wall 5 feet from window, window unsafe. Would not stay here again.

Good stuff: Earls Court convenience from airport. Fairly inexpensive

Bad stuff: no hot water one day at about five oclock. breakfast not included in room price. Last time booked it was included at the same room price.

Overall: It was a convenient fairly priced hotel. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent
