Perfectly placed close to Paddington Station giving easy access to the Express Train for those wishing to reach Heathrow within 15 minutes. A rather nice tree lined avenue and just a short walk to Hyde Park - home of Kensington Palace and Gardens and the Princess Diana Memorial Garden. Take a stroll around Serpentine Lake, visit the Gallery and then perhaps head for the south side where you will find the Royal Albert Hall and several museums. A little further along and you pop out at Knightsbridge - home of the famous Harrods and Harvey Nichols. A short walk and you are in Sloan Square and the Chelsea coffee society people - sip on a latte and watch the world go by.

Theatres, art galleries and some amazing sights to be admired. Take a ride on the London Eye to view the city from a different perspective, stroll along the embankment and go up the OXO Tower where you can enjoy an afternoon drink and watch the sun set over London's skyline.

Boat trips, shows, street entertainment, Covent Garden's Piazza.

Head over to Kensington and close by you come to Earls Court Exhibition Centres - a little further on the tube and you are in Kew Gardens where you can enjoy the beautiful botanical gardens and parkland.

Good stuff: Situated in a great location next to Hyde Park just off of Bayswater Road. Comfortable clean with friendly staff.

Overall: We were looking for somewhere to stay that was close to attractions in London. This place was perfect. We had a room that looked over Kensington Gardens. We could see the Serpentine and most of Hyde Park. Also, Queensway tube station was a few minutes walk away, so it was easy to get to. When you are in London, having a good base to work from is important to me. It saves time if you are close to the places you want to see. Hyde Park is a well known attraction. It has speakers corner, the Albert Memorial and Kensington Palace within it. These are all great to experience and so close by. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. Good value, good beds, good staff and facilities at a good price.
