Good stuff: Very nice hotel
Bad stuff: Very small bedroom
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Good value for money but our bedroom (no 440 ) was far too small for 2 adults and a 10 year old especially with no drawers in room and a 2 night stay

Good stuff: The price and location
Bad stuff: Noise at night (banging doors, people talking), room walls must be very thin
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Reasonably priced and in quite a good location, some noise apparent at night, even people talking (not shouting)in the next room and doors closing could be heard.
Reception very efficient.

Good stuff: Good access to underground.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Adequate hotel for providing a bed in a central, though very touristy, part of town. Nothing spectacular, some things below average (such as linens which didn't fit the bed), but on balance you get what you pay for.

Good stuff: Central location with easy access to bus, tube and train
Bad stuff: rooms VERY small, a little dated, clean but rather scruffy.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The rooms look much larger on the web site. The double we had only just accommodated the double bed, allowing just enough space to walk round the bed. The bathroom was equally small. Although the room was clean it was in need of modernization - paint chipped on the skirting boards. damp patch around the windows. window locks damaged. curtain rail brackets missing.
The hotel was adequate for our needs, we spent three days sight-seeing and required a clean bed each evening to rest our weary heads. We paid £50 per night on an internet deal which was reasonable, the 'list price' is £188 - I would have been very annoyed at paying this rate. Staff are helpful and friendly. The reception is grander than the rooms. We didn't dine in the hotel so can't comment on food. Bar prices were low to average (for London!). You can park outside the hotel free from 8pm to 7am, we used the secure parking next door which was £22 per 24 hours (sadly average for London). The hotel is 1 min walk from Hyde park on a quiet side street. Tube, bus and rail are all within 5 mins maximum.
In conclusion: an inexpensive hotel for travellers who require a clean bed, but are not concerned with rooms being small and dated. I would use again.

Good stuff: near the tube station, room size was good and some of the facilities were good.
Bad stuff: room temperature and water temperature. plus most items on the menue were out of stock so there was a variety of food dishes available.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: overall the hotel was good size and clean. the room service was very good but the facilities needed a improvement.
