Good stuff: The location of the hotel was excellent, relatively quiet and close to the undrground, basic shopping etc
Bad stuff: Air-condition and minibars can be installed in the rooms.
Overall: The hotel has an excellent location. The rooms are small, almost miniature (e.g. wash-basins are incredibly small, washing your hands they get occasionally overflooded). In all I think the hotel is a bit expensive in comparison to what it offers. In my country (Turkey) you may have to that price a sea-side Mediterranean holiday at a 4 even 5 star hotel, halfboard (open buffet) with unlimited local drinks (wine, beer etc). (This is why 3 to 4 hundred thousand Britons are pouring in Turkey each summer)!

Good stuff: Dependability, except the size and place of the room is always a surprise. As a somewhat regular (1 week in August for the past 3 years) customer I would prefer to have some choice in room.
Bad stuff: (1) Having suffered a forced elevator maintenance for a few days in 2004 this could be a serious problem especially for the elderly, (2) Some rooms are both small and depressive. (2) mattresses could be more hygenic(undistorted)
Overall: Room size and structure and quality of service are primary concerns in every accomodation.

Good stuff: The hotel is lovely. The reception, bar and dining areas are beautifully decorated and the outside of the hotel is very nice too.
I stayed in a twin room with my friend, which was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. It had a T.V, bath/shower tea & coffee etc.
Bad stuff: Nothing as we did not come across anything that we thought could have been improved.
Overall: I stayed here with 5 others for a friends hen weekend in August. We got there at around 11.00am expecting not to be able to book in until 3pm (as it states when booking.) We were all extremely pleased to find that when we got there we were checked in straight away, this was quick and easy. All rooms were on the same floor except one. We were very pleased with our rooms, which had T.V, bath/shower, tea & coffee facilities etc. The reception area is lovely, as is the bar & dining areas too. It is very well situated (opposite Bayswater tube station.) Staff were all friendly and helpful.
