Made up of 185 en suite bedrooms all filled with the very best in current amenities, the Clarendon is an ideal venue both for Businessor recreational travelers. There's two main bars, a warm and comfortable cocktail bar as well as, with an emphatic Seafaring theme, the favorite Nautical Chart Bar. Our wonderful Meridian Eatery enjoys an excellent status locally and specialises in British and European Delicacies.A haven for lovers of History, Greenwich, with its recreational areas, palaces, galleries and landscapes is actually on our front doorstep.

This hotel offers an absolutely first rate service within a glorious environment and all for an astonishingly modest sum. This hotel could never be commended too highly.

The magnificent 18th Century Clarendon London commands a breathtaking view of Greenwich Park and Blackheath Village where it is located. A stone`s throw from the A2, we are 2k from Lewisham Tube Station, 5k from Blackheath Railway Station and 8k from Mainline Waterloo.

The Clarendon boasts 185 en suite rooms all equipped with excellent modern facilities which include satellite TV, direct dial telephone with voice mail, work desk and modem point. There are a choice of rooms ranging from Standard Single to Executive. The latter is luxury itself sporting a fireplace and a four poster bed. Splendid!

We offer comprehensive Banqueting and Conferencing facilities. There are 5 well equipped purpose built suites, the largest accommodating up to 150 delegates. To assist you in your requirements, we also have an on site Conference Manager.
The Clarendon has two bars - the aptly named and indeed designed Nautical Chart Bar which is liberally strewn with seafaring paraphernalia and a popular venue for meeting friends. Alternatively you may decide to unwind in our cocktail bar with its warm and crackling open fire and sumptuous leather Chesterfield sofas and chairs.

Given the serious competition afforded by the many restaurants in the local vicinity, our very own Meridian Restaurant can stand proud as a worthy contender. Overlooking our beautiful landscaped gardens, this fine restaurant specialises in both English and European Cuisine.

To stay at the Clarendon in London without taking in the vast legacy of culture and history that is on offer all around you would be an absolute tragedy. The playground of royalty for hundreds of years and the birthplace of both Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth 1st, Greenwich is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating places on Earth. You can stand on the Greenwich Meridian inside the Royal Observatory built by Sir Christopher Wren, marvel at the awe-inspiring art-deco Eltham Palace or simply taste the air of the gardens and greens.

For a staggeringly modest sum, your time at The Clarendon Hotel will later bring wonderful memories that you will never forget.

Bad stuff: The rooms were dated and the bathroom was very small The staff were NOT customer orientated and one member of the restaurant staff in particular was very rude and we complained to the hotel about him directly
