Good stuff: Spacious, comfortable room. Quiet though ground floor next to a main road.

Bad stuff: Move the butter nearer the toast machine!!!

Overall: Pleasant modern hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, reasonably priced (and decent) food, good buffet breakfast (not too frantic!). The hotel car park is also reasonably priced by Central London standards. Very conveniently placed for the South Bank - Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, shops, boutiques, restaurants, Borough Market, Design Museum, Tower of London, all within reasonable walking distance, with fantastic river views as you walk. Not nearly as mad as Oxford Street and Knightsbridge for a pre-Christmas shopping break, and much more fun - and we managed easily to get almost all our presents in one day, which is a record!
