If you prefer to do the galleries then why not start at the National Gallery at Trafalgar Square - just a short walk away and the Royal Academy of Arts on Piccadilly. Down by the river you can see the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and London Eye. Over the water why not visit London Aquarium and the National Theatre.
