Step out of your door and head to St James Park for an early morning stroll, view Buckingham Palace and then perhaps meander across Green Park to find yourself in Piccadilly where you can delight in some retail therapy. Further along is Regent Street, Oxford Street, Bond Street, Saville Row and a host of terribly helpful tailors and designers. If you prefer to do the galleries then why not start at the National Gallery at Trafalgar Square - just a short walk away and the Royal Academy of Arts on Piccadilly. Down by the river you can see the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and London Eye. Over the water why not visit London Aquarium and the National Theatre.

With the Strand and Covent Garden close by there are a host of choices to keep you amused whilst in London.

Good stuff: Excellent central location - nicely furbished and tidy (bath)room

Bad stuff: The length of the bed was not comfortable (I am 1,85m tall)- hairdryer out of order

Overall: We booked at a special rate (20% off), which reflected to me a good price/quality relationship. At the full price, we would have expected a larger bed (width and length). The quality of the breakfast (not included in the price) was really not up to standard and did not offer value for money, neither in terms of the service nor the food. In view of the quality of the rest of the hotel, this should really be improved.
