Good stuff: Its better to pay a little bit more and get an exceutive room like i did.

Bad stuff: Despite the price of the executive room the room itself was a bit small.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I would stay there again. The location is ideal and the staff were helpful. Value for money.

Good stuff: Cheap, convenient

Bad stuff: Rooms need modernization

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I've stayed at this hotel before several times, so I knew everything. I think it would be important to know the size of the rooms, age of the rooms/facilities.

Good stuff: The location of the hotel was convenient for the West End, and Kensington. Rooms were a little small, but the price was right.

Good stuff: Friendly staff and good service

Bad stuff: Room

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The room was too small and very, very hot, we staid during a heat- wave. But we got what we paid for, next time we will order a better room - that will be worth the money.

Good stuff: the hotel bar and lobby aswell as a very good location.

Bad stuff: Room temperature a bit too cold and bathroom v small.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: For the rate of £40 a night i would recommend this hotel. It has all the basic needs amd the location is good. The entrance is the most impressive of the hotel and the bar is nice ans spacious. I would stay again.

Good stuff: had everything I needed in particular liked the trouser pressing machine and the cleanliness of the room.

Bad stuff: Confusion with the checking in sorting it out dragged on a little bit but staff were very polite.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Nice room had good facilities maybe websites should have more details of what rooms contain and realistic pictures have found the pictures do not always match up with rooms given. I was pleasantly surprised this time, have stayed in a single room at this hotel before which wasn't as nice as the room I stayed in this time.

Good stuff: The hotel is in a good area near Hyde Park. The size from our room was ok and the staff normal friendly.

Bad stuff: The room was very warm and situated in the GrandFloor. And so, it was not possible to sleep with opened window.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The breakfast was unfortunatelly not included and very expensive. The price was fair but I have the feeling that I had a low price for a sleazy room. I am sure, that the hotel has more better rooms.

Good stuff: Location was good.

Bad stuff: Very thin ceilings kept us up most nights because we heard every noise above us. Also, toilet did not work very well.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Well, since hotels in London are so expensive it really wouldn't have mattered what I knew beforehand since the Blakemore was all I could afford. I guess I got what I paid for but at over $200 a night, I would have like A LOT more for my money.

Good stuff: Excellent location - quiet - nice lobby

Bad stuff: Room was TOO small - smaller than a cabin on a ship! Breakfast not included

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The location is excellent, convenient to transportaion yet quiet and attractive. The lobby is very nice and our reservation was all in order. We thought breakfast was included, but it was not. The room was just too small and the bathroom was tiny. If we had been staying longer than one night, I would have changed hotels because of the size.

Good stuff: adequate for business travelling for any business who is concerned about the expenses in doing business in London

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: i like this hotel, i have stayed here for more than 5 times. it is inexpensive, but the facilities are by far better than the other Paddington/Bayswater terrace hotels. It is closed enough to walk to Queensway and Bayswater to visit the ethnic restaurants, yet, easy and cheap enough to fetch a cab to hit the W1 area. Taking the tube is just as easy.

Good stuff: The staff and the location.

Bad stuff: Not many facilities (microwave, fridge). Poor conditions of room.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Excellent location but difficult to find(no signs of the hotel in the way). Excellent staff.

Good stuff: Good location for access to the tube system

Bad stuff: Very poor staff, disorganised and unhelpful

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Bar staff seemed more interested in his looks than serving customers, rooms are very warm and facilities are a bit run down, but in general the hotel is clean.

Good stuff: Comfortable room, friendly service, nice bar.

Bad stuff: Not enough tv channels...

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The hotel was very nice, clean and I felt secure. The location was nice and I was able to get to anything i needed to. The consiegre was very helpful in me getting a tour of the city. The bar was also nice and had the very nice tv which had scarface on the first night. Very Cool! Like I said, the TV channel selection was lacking (I think I got 4). But it would not effect my decision to stay at the hotel again. Oveall, I was very pleased with my stay.

Good stuff: The staff we're all very polite and helpful. Also the location of the hotel was very convenient.

Bad stuff: The tap in our hotel room was leeking. Also the furniture looked a little dated.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: We enjoyed staying at the Blakemore and felt it too suit our needs as we only needed somewhere to sleep, that would be cheap and close to several tourist locations.

This Guests Rating Bar for 2.86 Rating out of 5: 2.86  Unique ID(1936618)  Guests Name: Anonymous
Guest was traveling as: Solo business traveller

Bad stuff: No internet conection in the room. The staff are not fluent in english so communication can be challenging some times.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: facilities available in the rooms

This Guests Rating Bar for 3.14 Rating out of 5: 3.14  Unique ID(1992585)  Guests Name: Anonymous
Guest was traveling as: Solo business traveller

Good stuff: Kind staff, good location

Bad stuff: Poor installations. No cold water on basin. Very old tv without remote control in the room. Restaurant has to be avoided (very poor kitchen)

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: It was not clear that breakfast was not included in the price.
