The Meridiana hotel in London is a family owned establishment right in the middle of the city. If you are here for a holiday or on business we are one of the most popular of the budget hotels in the area.

Easy to reach and easy to get around once you are here. We are situated a short 2 mins walk away from St Pancras Kings Cross, close to many of the citys attractions. All of our rooms are fully centrally heated and equipped with the facilities you would expect from a modern hotel. We offer you a clean and comfortable room at a price that you can afford. Good stuff: The easiest thing about this hotel was booking a room on line for myself and husband. Also, Upon entry they were very polite , and I guess the best perk at staying at the Hotel was the English Breakfast.

Bad stuff: The room was very small and plain, the beds were as hard as a rock and myself nor mu husband were able to sleep that nite. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the conversation of the family with children down the hall, and the bathroom was right next to their room...a child made the comment they could hear me peeing...LOL....must be awful to have had that room. Also, the television only had one channel. The beds were 3 in our room and we had to scoot them together to make a bed for the 2 of us to sleep in. Next morning we took a shower and the shower head popped off and was unable to pop back on so we...I guess...kinda sorta got a shower.

Overall: Wouldn't stay again at this hotel, only good perk truly was the English Breakfast. They ask to much for so little, not a place if you would like a nice nights rest.

Good stuff: First night friendly staff, check-out staff not so friendly. Room nice and clean. Good to have a TV.

Bad stuff: The bathroom and showers were not so clean. The shower on the 2nd floor needs a curtain because it smelled really bad. I suggest also to provide soap gel on the showers.

Overall: It was not bad, but it could be better!

Good stuff: The quiet atmosphere and surroundings, the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast room was nice, breakfast too (except the bangers), cleanliness, central location, always somebody at the reception desk. Hot water all the time!

Bad stuff: the bangers were awful!

Overall: rest was ok, fine. No real complaints. No wishes. everything rather complete and informative.

Overall: If you use most of your time in London out of the Hotel, then the facilities of this hotel, are excellent for sleeping and breakfast. Not very much space, but perfect for our family.

Overall: The Hotel was conveniently situated close to Kings Cross. Liked the idea of having a front door key. Breakfasts delicious and very filling. Room and ensuite were small but perfectly adequate for our needs and spotlessly clean. Overall a very good budget hotel.

Good stuff: Location is excellent. Staff were accomodating for early check-in request.

Bad stuff: Shared shower was clean, but in need of some maintenance (ceiling).

Overall: It was what we expected.

Good stuff: Price and location are the only reasons to book this hotel.

Bad stuff: Kings Cross is slightly dodgy in the night plus breakfast was really basic.

Overall: Good points: price and location (100 metres from Kings Cross). Neutral points: facilities. Bad points: breakfast and 5% extra commission if paying by credit card.

Good stuff: The staff were friendly and helpful, my room was clean, light and airy and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was served in a cosy room by polite staff and I enjoyed it.

Bad stuff: The shower, which was not ensuite, was a bit small and the cooked breakfast was just beans, egg and a slice of bacon (there was orange juice, toast + tea/coffee), it tasted great but could have done with a little more!

Overall: I usually stay in expensive hotels so hadn't expected much but can honestly say I was impressed, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. The breakfast was small but adequate and considering it was included in the price it was excellent value. If you are looking for a cheap hotel in this area this is probably it.

Overall: A great little hotel - friendly staff and well kept rooms and bathrooms. Well located in London. Only drawback is that the rooms are quite small.

Good stuff: Excellent value for money, shared shower was not a problem, staff were excellent

Overall: I couldnt fault this at all it was excellent value for money. It may have been cheap but was excellent value for money. The room was basic but was tidy and sufficient for a couple of nights stay. The shared shower was something i thought may course a problem but wasn't any problem whatsoever. My 3 friends all felt the same that it was excellent value. The staff were great and let us keep our bags at reception even after we'd checked out. Will definitely go back next time in London

Good stuff: Very close to an underground station(Kings Cross) from where you can travel all directions in London..

Bad stuff: The matresses with the iron springs did not feel good,

Overall: The spring matresses were only covered by a single sheet. We took the extra blankets and put them in 4 layers, folded on the matress under the sheet, so that you felt less the springs, which was far more comfortable. The two single beds on top of each other were not very stable. The bathroom/toilet was minimal in terms of space. Maybe two rooms would have been better in stead of a familysuite. With the two single beds on top of each other and the twin bed, there was not much room left. Thinking of the fact that you spend most of the time outside the hotel this sleeping place for 4 was not too bad for 75 UK pounds

Bad stuff: window wasn't quite quite enough

Overall: I would recoomend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable clean and inexpensive night in London close to St. Pancras, Euston, or Kings Cross! The staff remmebered me from my last visit. I have used it for work and reccommended it to my collegues.

Bad stuff: The Bed. Matrass need to be replaced with decent firm one.

Overall: The proximity, price and staff made the stay worthwhile.
