Good stuff: Staff were fantastic and made us very welcome, they even made special arrangements for my sons birthday.

Bad stuff: Not very clean , although the sheets and towels were clean.We were in the basement and although there were windows it was very damp. The lighting on the walls didnt work and I got an electric shock from the plug socket. We had to boil the kettle on top of the wardrobe as there was no plug socket available except over the bed , and there were no spoons to make tea.

Overall: Without children I would reccomend staying at the hotel if you are on a budget , we got a room for four for £60 including breakfast.

Good stuff: location to transport

Bad stuff: filthy, minute en suite, dirty, doors hanging off wardrobe, no handles on drawers, tea and coffee previously wet and allowed to dry out, no kettle anyway. curtains hanging off. noisy

Overall: awful experience. if i had seen room before i paid i may have walked away and accepted that i would have to pay a lot more at short notice at another hotel, after first night we tried to see if friends were in town to put us up. this hotel is disgusting.

Good stuff: close to victoria coach and rail station

Bad stuff: the bathrooms smelled musty and had some mildew

Overall: for the location it was a good value but the room and the bathrooms are quite small. the staff was very nice and friendly

Good stuff: Towels and sheets were very clean

Bad stuff: Room too cramped, en suite facilities were too small, shower inadequate.

Overall: Had booked twin room and was allocated room with a double bed and bunks. No wardrobe, no coffee, only tea provided.
