Great base for those wishing to take advantage of the fabulous shopping on Oxford Street, Regent Street, Bond Street and Piccadilly and of course Knightsbridge. If its the sights you wish to explore then you could start off close by in Hyde Park, take a stroll to the lake, visit the gallery and then meander down to Kensington Palace, exit by Queens Gate and take a daytime tour around Royal Albert Hall, behind you will find the Science and Natural History Museums and a little further along Knightsbridge famous stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Across to Westminster to visit the amazing Abbey or hop across the river and take a ride on London Eye. If its art you love then Piccadilly has the Academy of Arts and some fine exhibitions, Covent Garden hosts a free photographic exhibition and of course there is theatreland with wonderful live entertainment.

Bad stuff: On arrival told there was problem and moved to another hotel accross the street. Overall: The alternative hotel provided by the Rose Court was good, no discount was offered for the mistake in our booking by the hotel and couldn't see the point in wasting time of my holiday trying to sort something out. It looked a nice Hotel, unfortuntaely didn't get to stay there. |
