The area is ideal for visitors here for sight-seeing or business. You will find Lancaster Gate and Paddington underground stations within walking distance, providing fast and easy access around London as well as presenting a direct route to the airport on the Heathrow Express and beyond. Major bus routes are close by and there is also parking nearby for those guests travelling by car.

Just a short journey on the tube and you can find yourself in the heart of the vibrant city centre. If you want to see the sights you will be spoilt for choice with Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and The Tower of London amongst the most popular. The West End is where you will find the theatres and shows, or alternatively you can visit any of the famous museums and galleries, or Madam Tussuad's waxworks and any number of other exciting attractions. The city is one of the best in Europe for shopping, restaurants and bars, and an electrifying night-life.

After an exciting day shopping, or sight-seeing you will find a haven in the quiet location of the Crown Wall, where you can relax and re-charge your batteries in anticipation of another great day in the capital.

Good stuff: The rooms were recently renovated and very clean

Bad stuff: 1.5 hr wait for room and our first room had missing television or cold water

Overall: The rooms were very small. That being said, they are also very clean. The staff were generally friendly and the location is great. However, our first night stay was very uncomfortable, and the staff did not offer us a reduced rate for that room. All in all, our experience was quite pleasant and the location can't be beat!

Good stuff: Location, price, cleanliness.

Bad stuff: There was no hot water at any time during our stay and the hotel did not offer any compensation.

Overall: Reasonably priced, clean hotel. Rooms were small but this was to be expected. However, what was inexcusable was the lack of hot water. The water felt like it had been pumped straight from the arctic. When we complained to the receptionist about the problem, he apologised but would not give any form of refund.
