Good stuff: Nice hotel, very friendly staff, rooms clean and tidy. My second time staying in this hotel and a very enjoyable experience. I will use this hotel again.

Bad stuff: The rooms did not have a safety deposit box. The chain on the door was also broken(sorry, I forgot to report this to reception when checking out!)

Overall: I have been to London quite a lot in the past 6 months and have stayed in various hotels but this hotel is the best I have stayed in. Very well situated as it's just beside Queensway tube station and in a really nice friendly, trouble-free area. The staff are very welcoming and try hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Bad stuff: Actioning faults and not just answering there is a technical fault. Rooms were too warm due to old style air con. Rooms were too small and not enough cupboard space.

Overall: The room itself was clean and tidy, but it was too small and there was not enough storage space. There was no safe, so there was no way of securing valuables. The hanging space for clothes was not enclosed. The TV/radio and payview was faulty and there was no attempt, as far as I am aware to call in an engineer. We would like to have known that we could not book in and get a room before 1400hrs. Due to this we had to adjust what we had planned for the day and we ended up rushing around. There was no facility to freshen up, except the sinks in the toilets, especially as we had travelled over from Belgium.

Good stuff: Good Location in nice area of london. Good Staff

Bad stuff: Expensive parking

Good stuff: Proximity to the city centre, value for money

Bad stuff: Inadequate internet access facilities from the room

Good stuff: Very comfortable and clean, near fire exit and very central

Bad stuff: No complaints at all

Overall: First time in hotel but it will not be the last. Very good value and great location. Staff very helpful. A good pointer to that last one was seeing a couple deliberately waiting to greet the concierge as a friend from a previous visit. He seemed to know them too.

Good stuff: Friendly staff

Bad stuff: No air conditioning. Coaches and Lorries very noisy from 6.30am right outside our window both mornings. Only had one cot available on Friday and we have twins who did not like sharing the same cot.
