Good stuff: Location Location. Straight from Heathrow off the tube at Gloucester Road station and 50m to door. Plenty to see in the area. Some good bars and cafes. Tourist bus stop across the road. Pleasant, traditional hotel with a lot of charm. Additional assistance with advice and short term requests (wheel chair for partners newly broken leg) was also great & appreciated.
Bad stuff: While the staff were very helpful, upon arrival there was no-one to help with my bags and only stairs for entry (a little difficult). May have just been an odd moment as departure was excellent. Space in the room is often a point of discussion. The first room we stayed in was fine however the second extremely small and not comfortable.
Overall: An enjoyable stay for our first visit, we hope of many, to London. Our thoughts are with all the staff and their families for the terror attacks and hope no one was directly affected. Thanks again.

Good stuff: Very convenient to Glouchester Rd tube station. Can't be any closer. In a neighbourhood with all the amenities - Starbucks, Tesco, pub, Boots,...
Bad stuff: A little dated but still clean. Lack of drawer space.
Overall: Excellent location for getting around London by tube. Liked to have the availability of the 24 hour Tesco, chip shop, starbuck, etc nearby. Will stay in area again.

Good stuff: It was central and the staff was quite friendly
Bad stuff: Because of the Bombay restaurant in the entrance even our clothes in our luggages smelled of indian food
Overall: After our stay in this hotel we went to another hotel which was paid by my husbands company .It was almost three times more expensive compared to this hotel however it is impossible to say that the service that we get in return was comparable . One should always keep in mind that unfortunately compared to the rest of the Europe hotels ,hotels in England are much much more expensive so I am afraid you should keep your standarts and expectations low when you book in England
