Good stuff: Fairly clean
Bad stuff: pillow too thick (couldn't sleep too well with it), a bit noisy in the corridor when people were passing by chatting overnight (1am!) and outside
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Better isolation of the rooms from external noise and corridors. Also, the twin rooms are a bit small yet still comfortable for a short stay. Maybe the variety of food for breakfast could be improved

Good stuff: Cheap, good location, and adequate for a short stay.
Bad stuff: I was staying on the top floor and it was difficult taking my suitcase up the stairs.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is adequate for a short stay. The location is very good with the train station only a short walk away. Breakfast is satisfactory. Stairs are a bit of a nuisance when with luggage. Also could have done with a little more room to make coffee. Also beds should be done neater. However, overall value for money.

Good stuff: Very good English breakfast; in the room comfortable access (without barriers or too small doors) to the shower; very nice place (windows opening to the park)
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Perfect price/performance ratio.

Good stuff: Good value for money and close to the underground
Bad stuff: Obvious smell of smoke in the room
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Located in a good street close to the underground (100 metres). Room was clean and adequate. Welcome was helpful and room was changed from 3rd floor to basement when it was realised that we had lots of bags and were middle aged. Thank you. Room had a smoke smell but cleared with airing and then returned when room was shut up. Shower was very good. Price was very competitive. Hotel a little noisy because of thin walls but this seems the case in all other hotels in this price range. Breakfast was very good. Breakfast staff could be a little friendlier which is a nice way to start a day but maybe I'm being a little picky.

Good stuff: Easy access of all of central London since Kings Cross station was at walking distance.
Bad stuff: The stairs whilst carrying luggage.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: On the whole we are accomodation was good and catered for our needs. We enjoyed the breakfast and ensuite was perfect. Moreover, getting around London from the hotel was easy. Staff could have been friendlier but this is not a major limitation. We would visit again whilst staying in London.

Good stuff: The building and the area of San Pancras
Bad stuff: The rooms should be with WC. The breakfast's room should be bigger.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: This accomodation is quite cheap (in a nice area of the city) and this is good for a medium tourist. Please take care with the cleaning of the rooms and add other foods for breakfast (some fruits, some biscuits, bread).

Good stuff: * The staff was very helpful and polite.
* The location was great, 200 meters to Kings Cross
* The breakfast was good
* The pricing was ok for a London hotel
* The street was quiet despite the location
Bad stuff: * The showers were a bit too small
* For a young couple like us, breakfast-serving 7-9am is too early!

Good stuff: Friendly helpfull staff, nice and clean, excelent location to Kings Cross Station
Bad stuff: Condition of some rooms was a bit poor
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I thinks this is a very good hotel for people to visit, very friendly and helpful staff, some rooms are in need of a bit of an upgrade as some rooms were definately in better condition than others. I also think the room on the ground floor next to reception should not ben used for guests as two people stayed there and have every other guest going past their room in the evening and the morning, which kept them up and woke them very early. Over all through a very good value for money hotel especially for the convenience of Kings Cross station.

Good stuff: Courtesy and helpfulness of reception staff
Bad stuff: The space in the room & accompanying bathroom was extremely small, making many simple daily tasks very difficult. Hard to improve on this without major renovations, I
guess.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Found the staff always co-operative and helpful. Breakfast was a substantial English breakfast - though coffee was not particularly good. Location was downmarket but convenient. Main problem is that the room itself was cramped and badly designed, even for a small accommodation space (a typical example - the space in the sink under the tap in the bathroom was not large enough for fit the hot water jug, meaning it had to be filled by filling up a polystyrene cup several times and pouring this into the jug). I note however that as we extended our request for a twin room for 1 to 3 nights at the last minute, it may be that this was the 'bottom of the list' room, and perhaps not all rooms were like this. (The room we were in on the first night was very good).

Good stuff: Friendly Administration
Bad stuff: Service in the Breakfast room could have been a little more friendly
Air conditioning!
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I would like to know how many levels (floors) are in your hotel, especially for guests who are unable to climb stairs.
We know in Canada that 90 % of all hotels are air conditioned and that all hotels have elevators and you can request a room next to an elevator if needed.
But the experience was wonderful.

Good stuff: Clean and tidy
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: We were delighted to find somewhere that was in the business of looking after people that was actually doing so. The accommodation was basic but warm clean and tidy. The staff were polite and recognised that we were their guests, and treated us accordingly. When next in London we will know where to go.

Good stuff: Close to Kings Cross station so had good access to the city.
Bad stuff: Although close to station the area that the hotel is located in is very quiet at night. For this reason I would not recomend it for females staying alone. As I found myself looking over my sholder when returning after dark as there are quite a few dodgy looking characters hanging around the square that faces the hotel.
