Reviews of The Drayton Arms Pub in Earls Court

This classy Victorian gastro-pub, five minutes walk from Fulham Road and in-between Earl's Court and Gloucester Road tube stations, has long been a hangout of the South Kensington locals. Furnished with comfy couches, wooden tables and chairs, and decorated with luscious green foliage and vibrant modern art by local artists, it offers an atmosphere that's both urbane and welcoming. The range of food and drink reflects the coalescence of the rustic and the refined: you can go for a Moroccan chicken salad or good old fish and chips, and Staropramen or Hoegaarden lagers or London Pride real ale etc.

Great Pub Atmosphere

The best thing about the Drayton Arms, I thought, however, was the atmosphere. Despite being in one of London's poshest areas and exuding a somewhat funky semblance, the demeanour of the staff and patrons are that of a very down to earth pub.

The service is efficient, prices are reasonable, the food isn't just for show and the environs are genuinely tranquil. If the weather's warm you can take advantage of the outdoor seating on the attractive terrace and watch life go by on the Old Brompton Road. Indoors, the pinball and table football machines will give you something to do on the rainy days.
