Good stuff: Our room was modern and pleasing. It was on the small side though.
Bad stuff: The foyer was cold looking and the hotel seemed impersonal, more like an airport than a hotel!
Overall: The photographs on the web site where what attracted me, the spooky blue lights and unusual art. i guess it's hard to imagine how a hotel 'feels' from pictures, it felt too 'cold' and unwelcoming once we'd arrived and I wish I'd booked something more traditional. My fault I guess as I wanted modern and a bit different. The check in queue was horrendous and the process very slow. There wasn't enough tea and milk in the room but when requested we were delivered more to our room after a fairly long wait. There was a strange blurry illuminated flamingo on an otherwise bare wooden wall in our room, we felt we should have been supplied with 3d glasses in order to view this properly. The television was if anything too big for a small room but maybe I just have an eyesight problem. The bathroom was very clean and modern and the shower worked really well. The complimentary lotions were very nice. Bathrobes could have been fluffier and a pair of slippers would have been handy. The view from our window was concrete and not at all pleasing. Maybe I'm just being picky but when we woke the next morning we couldn't wait to get home to our hi tech and modern but also cosy bungalow! Nearly forgot, the egyptian cotton sheets were really comfortable, I have to get some of those.

Good stuff: Modern, attractive decoration and facilities.
Bad stuff: Cleanliness in the lifts and common area outside rooms.
Overall: Had I known that there were no double glazed windows, I would have asked for a room on the higher floors and not overlooking Oxford St.
